CANNABIS PESTICIDE TESTING

cannabis pesticide testing
In 2017, in Colorado, more than 100,000 units of cannabis edibles, budders, live resins, waxes and vape pen cartridges were voluntarily recalled after residues of banned pesticides were found in the products. The CO state Department of Agriculture found that the affected cannabis-infused products contained trace amounts of Imidacloprid, Myclobutanil, Etoxazol, and Spiromesifin – all of which have been linked to harmful side effects.

At AgriScience Labs, we perform reliable cannabis pesticide testing on state-of-art liquid chromatography, triple-quadrupole mass spectrometers (LC-MS/MS).  Our method has been validated for all flower and concentrate samples, so we can help you with all your regulation-required testing.  We are state certified to test for all the regulated pesticides listed below:

Substance Action Limit (ppm, µg/g)
Total Abamectin (Avermectin B1a and Avermectin B1b) 0.07

In addition, unlike other labs, we only require 1.5 grams for our pesticides in cannabis testing, which means that you will likely not need to send a sample size larger than the MED minimums.
